12 team members, a shared goal, and a course along the Maltese coastline: at the La Valette Half Marathon, a sporting challenge turned into an intense experience.
Three days full of focus, energy, and team spirit.
In mid-March, twelve team members traveled to Malta, where the La Valette Half Marathon brings together runners from all over the world. From the moment of arrival, it was clear what makes this event special: an international atmosphere, great energy, and the anticipation of running in a unique setting.
The 21-kilometer course ran along the coastline from Silema to Vittoriosa – offering views of the sea, a special atmosphere along the route, and exactly the mix of excitement and motivation you feel before a day like this.
The trip was organized by ADDITIVE, with the clear goal of creating space for sporting challenges and shared experiences.
Our video shows how the half marathon was experienced on site:

On March 22, the time had come. The half marathon was more than just a sporting event – it was the result of targeted preparation and consistent training. Every single kilometer required concentration, endurance, and mental strength.
What became visible: those who work with ambition and focus every day bring that same mindset to the course. The determination to stay on track and pursue a goal consistently connects people – in everyday work as well as in sports.

Even though individual performance takes center stage, events like this highlight how important a strong environment is. Whether before the start, along the course, or at the finish line: you do not experience a day like this alone.
The foundation was already laid in advance through regular joint training sessions in Bolzano and Merano – whether during lunch breaks or after work. From classic runs to running technique training, a routine gradually developed that not only prepared the team for the competition but also strengthened team cohesion.
Whether through mutual motivation or crossing the finish line together – the team spirit was present and made the difference.

After the race, the team enjoyed a shared brunch overlooking the rooftops of Silema – a moment to pause, reflect, and arrive. With a view over the coast, the day’s achievement was celebrated.
The remaining days in Malta were also shaped by relaxed shared moments, meaningful conversations, and the joy of having experienced this weekend together. Experiences like these help create a working environment that goes beyond the traditional framework and offers space for personal development and new perspectives.
The La Valette Half Marathon was not only a sporting highlight but also an expression of ADDITIVE’s company culture – one that embraces motivation and fosters it in a targeted way.
